Product Questions & Answers (2)

Question by: Lee S on May 6, 2025, 7:23 PM
What kind of corrosion resistance can I expect from this fitting?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 8, 2025, 7:51 AM
Dura-Kote plating gives this Eaton Aeroquip fitting superior corrosion resistance, which should extend the lifespan of your hose assemblies.
Question by: Lynn O on Apr 6, 2026, 6:54 PM
what's the corrosion resistance like on these fittings? running equipment outside and rust has been a real problem with cheaper stuff
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 8, 2026, 5:28 PM
Carbon steel fittings like these usually need something extra to hold up outdoors, and that's where the Dura-Kote plating comes in. It's a protective coating applied specifically to extend the life of the fitting and resist corrosion over time. If rust has been eating through your current hardware, this would be a meaningful upgrade over uncoated steel fittings.
