what's the material on this fitting, and is it gonna hold up if it's sitting in a wet or corrosive environment for long stretches?

Carbon steel with Dura-Kote plating. That plating is specifically there to fight corrosion, so you're not working with bare steel that'll rust out on you after a season. got a -4 hose setup, is this FJ3468-0404S the right size fitting for it?
