Product Questions & Answers (3)

Question by: Warren M on Sep 28, 2025, 8:52 PM
what hose dash size does this coupling work with, and is the -6 size pretty common for shop equipment?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 30, 2025, 8:12 PM
For a -6 hose dash size, you're looking at a 3/8 inch internal diameter hose, which shows up all the time in hydraulic lines for shop presses, loaders, and general-purpose equipment. The 0.875 end size on the male UNEF side is a standard dimension that pairs up with a wide range of common hose assemblies, so sourcing compatible hose stock usually isn't a problem.

trying to swap out a nipple on a -6 hose, is this one the right size or am i off?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 14, 2025, 7:09 AM
For a -6 hose dash size setup, this nipple assembly matches that dash size and uses a male UNEF end on one side with a line, hose, or tube connection on the other. It also lists an end size 1 of 0.875, so those are the key fit points to match up.
