The Flexmaster Series Danfoss / Eaton Flexmaster Tube and Pipe Joints Coupling is adept at handling angular misalignment up to 4 per end. Designed to seal connections securely it is suitable for line hose and tube applications. A stainless steel gripping ring within each gasket ensures a firm grip and prevents undesired movement which is beneficial in industrial contexts requiring secure attachment. Flexmaster joints are effective for service up to 300 psi suitability depending on application and size. Tees elbows and crosses can manage misalignments up to 2 per end contributing to the product's versatility across various industrial scenarios. The Flexmaster joint is not designed to keep systems together autonomously. External restraints such as hangars guides and anchors are necessary to restrict movement. Question by: Cody K on Feb 1, 2026, 9:37 PM
these flexmaster joints, are they meant to hold the pipe system together on their own, or do you still need to strap everything down like normal?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 3, 2026, 6:45 AM
External restraints are still required. The joint seals the connection but isn't built to keep the hydraulic lines system from moving on its own. Standard hangers, guides, and anchors all need to be in place just like you'd use on any other hydraulic lines setup. The joint handles the seal, not the structural hold.
Question by: Denise P on Jul 15, 2025, 6:29 PM
How much can these Flexmaster joints handle as far as misalignment goes? Gotta make sure things line up right.
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 17, 2025, 8:38 AM
These Flexmaster joints can handle angular misalignment up to 4 degrees per end on straight sections. For tees, elbows, and crosses, it's up to 2 degrees per end.
Question by: Rusty W on May 3, 2025, 7:47 AM
got a little bit of angle on my run, how much misalignment will these Flexmaster joints actually take?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 4, 2025, 7:24 PM
For the straight through Flexmaster joints, they will accommodate up to 4 degrees of angular misalignment per end. If you are using tees, elbows, or crosses, those are rated for up to 2 degrees per end.
