The Flexmaster Series Danfoss / Eaton Flexmaster Tube and Pipe Joints Gasket is designed to seal tube and pipe connections efficiently. Available in standard and self-restrained styles the latter integrates a stainless steel gripping ring within each gasket ensuring a secure hold on the pipe or tube to prevent movement.
Bulged straight-through Flexmaster joints can accommodate angular misalignment up to 4 per end. For tees elbows and crosses the joints can handle up to 2 per end. Engineered for up to 300 psi service depending on application and size these joints offer robust performance in various industrial scenarios.
It is important to use external restraints such as hangers guides and anchors to prevent movement of the connected components as the Flexmaster joint is intended to seal connections not to hold systems together.

Question by: Pete R on Sep 3, 2025, 9:48 AM
these flexmaster gaskets, do they actually grip the pipe so it won't slide around, or do I still need to rig up something external to keep everything in place?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 4, 2025, 8:21 PM
Both styles are available, so it depends on which one you're ordering. The self-restrained version has a stainless steel gripping ring built right into the gasket, and that ring does hold onto the pipe or tube to prevent it from shifting along the connection. That said, even with the self-restrained style, you still need hangers, guides, anchors, and other external supports in place. The joint is built to seal the connection, not to carry the structural load of the hydraulic lines system. External restraints handle system movement. The gasket handles the seal.

got a little bit of misalignment in my run, how much angle will these Flexmaster joints actually take?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 10, 2025, 3:35 PM
On the bulged, straight-through Flexmaster joints, you can allow up to 4° of angular misalignment per end. If you are using tees, elbows, or crosses, the allowance drops to up to 2° per end.
