Flexmaster Series Danfoss / Eaton Flexmaster Tube and Pipe Joints Gasket

Description & Features

Designed for sealing tube and pipe connections in industrial fluid systems, the Flexmaster Series Danfoss / Eaton Flexmaster Tube and Pipe Joints Gasket accommodates angular misalignment up to 4° per end on straight-through configurations, with tees, elbows, and crosses rated up to 2° per end. The bulged, straight-through design allows for reliable alignment flexibility without compromising the seal integrity.

Rated for up to 300 psi service depending on size and application, this gasket is available in both standard and self-restrained styles. The self-restrained version incorporates a stainless steel gripping ring inside the gasket to prevent axial movement along the pipe or tube. End size is 2.5 on both connections, with a minimum working temperature of -30°. External restraints such as hangers, guides, and anchors remain required to manage system movement, the joint is engineered specifically for sealing, not structural retention.

Question by: Rusty E on Sep 18, 2025, 6:05 AM
got a 2.5 inch pipe connection that keeps shifting a little out of line during operation, will this gasket still seal okay with some angular offset?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 19, 2025, 1:23 PM
Up to 4 degrees of angular misalignment per end is within what the straight-through Flexmaster configuration handles. So some offset during operation is not going to break the seal as long as you stay within that tolerance. If your connection involves a tee, elbow, or cross fitting, the limit drops to 2 degrees per end, so keep that in mind depending on your setup.
Question by: Gene B on Apr 23, 2025, 1:14 PM
So, this gasket, it's gonna let my pipes move around a little, right? How much we talkin'?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 25, 2025, 6:39 AM
The Flexmaster joints can handle up to 4 degrees of angular misalignment on each end for straight runs. For tees, elbows, and crosses, it's up to 2 degrees per end.
