For general-purpose industrial applications the Danfoss / Eaton Flexmaster tube and pipe joints offer reliability and versatility. Featuring female compression ends this joint comfortably fits pipes with a 2-inch diameter and has a plated steel construction that ensures long-lasting durability.
Engineered to accommodate up to 4 angular misalignment per end for straight joints and 2 for tees elbows and crosses it operates efficiently within a temperature range down to -30F. Dependable sealing performance is provided by Buna-N seal material and the joint is designed for up to 300 psi service depending on application and size.
While designed to seal pipe and tube connections it's crucial to note that the Flexmaster joint should not be used to hold systems together. External restraints such as hangars guides and anchors are required to control movement.

Got a 2-inch pipe connection that shifts around a little due to thermal movement. Can this joint handle some angular flex without losing its seal?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 28, 2025, 6:48 AM
Up to 4 degrees of angular misalignment per end is what the straight Flexmaster handles, so minor movement from thermal expansion is well within its range. The Buna-N seals maintain their grip through that flex, and the joint is rated down to negative 30 degrees Fahrenheit, so cold-weather installations aren't a concern either. Just keep in mind that the joint handles sealing, not structural support. You'll still need your standard hangers, guides, and anchors in place to keep the hydraulic lines system from shifting beyond what the joint is meant to manage.
Question by: Vince W on Oct 23, 2025, 3:51 PM
Can this joint handle a little wiggle room in the pipes, or do they have to be perfectly aligned?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 25, 2025, 9:28 AM
These Flexmaster joints can handle up to 4 degrees of angular misalignment per end on straight joints, which should give you some flexibility.
Question by: Shane R on Feb 15, 2026, 3:00 PM
got a 2 inch line, will this straight flex joint actually fit it or am i gonna be fighting it
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 17, 2026, 6:49 AM
Fit comes down to the pipe size and outside diameter. This joint is for 2.00 inch pipe and calls out a 2.375 inch pipe OD, with female compression ends on both sides.
