Supporting up to 300 psi pressure the Flexmaster joint functions effectively with Buna-N seals. The joint is equipped with female compression fittings on each end with a torque rating of 180 IN-LBS. This feature ensures compatibility with various systems. The joint maintains performance at temperatures as low as -30 degrees Fahrenheit. The Flexmaster joint is available in standard and self-restrained styles. The self-restrained model includes a stainless steel gripping ring within each gasket ensuring a firm non-movement grip. Wondering if this Flexmaster joint would be good to use on some hydraulic lines I'm piecing together?

These Flexmaster joints are designed to seal pipe and tube connections, so they should work well for your hydraulic lines. They're not really meant to hold entire hydraulic lines systems together though, so make sure you've got proper supports and restraints in place.

Sealing is the job here, not structural support. The joint keeps the connection tight and handles angular misalignment up to 4 degrees per end, but the hydraulic lines system itself needs to be held in place with hangers, guides, anchors, or other external restraints. The joint won't prevent the pipe from moving along its length on its own, so don't skip those supports.
