This Danfoss / Eaton Flexmaster Tube and Pipe Joint is suitable for general purpose applications. The straight Flexmaster Pipe & Tube Joint is designed for connecting 3.50 inch pipes using compression connections. It is made from plated steel with Buna-N seals, ensuring reliable performance in demanding environments. This joint can accommodate angular misalignment up to 4° per end.
The Flexmaster joint is rated up to 300 psi, depending on the application and size, and can operate in temperatures as low as -30°F. Installation requires a torque rating of 240 IN-LBS.
If I need to take this apart later, what's the torque on those bolts?

trying to swap out an old joint, is this one actually for 3.5 inch pipe and straight through?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 29, 2025, 8:22 AM
It’s a straight Flexmaster pipe and tube joint with female compression ends sized for 3.50 inch pipe. The listed pipe OD is 4 inches, so it’s meant to clamp and seal on that 3.5 inch pipe size using compression connections.

Got a 3.5 inch pipe that's running a little crooked coming out of a pump housing. Will this joint handle that kind of situation or do i need something else?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 25, 2025, 2:25 PM
Angular misalignment up to 4 degrees per end is within what this joint handles, so minor pipe run deviation coming off a pump housing is exactly the kind of thing it's built for. Keep in mind the joint itself isn't meant to restrain pipe movement along the line. You'll still need hangars, guides, or anchors to hold the system in place. The joint seals the connection, it doesn't lock the pipe from shifting axially.
