The Aeroquip by Danfoss / Eaton GH493 Series Rubber Hydraulic Spiral Hose is constructed with a synthetic rubber tube and a 4-spiral reinforcement for durability. It features a black synthetic rubber cover and is designed for hydraulic system service with petroleum and water-based fluids, making it suitable for various industrial applications.

The hose has a hose inside diameter of 0.38 inches and an outside diameter of 0.79 inches, with a premium abrasion resistance. It operates efficiently in a temperature range from -40deg;F to +260deg;F.

It offers a maximum operating pressure of 6500 PSI and a 1,000,000-cycle impulse cycle life. The lay line style is embossed for easy identification.

The minimum bend radius is 4.92 inches, and it comes in rolls only. The hose is conductive and features wire-reinforced construction for enhanced performance.

what kind of lifespan are we lookin at if it runs continuous high pressure everyday

Heavy daily use is exactly what the four spiral wire reinforcement handles best. You can expect a million impulse cycles out of the GH493 series before it needs swapping out even when pushing fluids near that 6500 PSI limit. The premium abrasion resistant synthetic rubber cover helps a lot with extending the overall life too.

got a tight spot to route it, how sharp can i bend this 3/8 hose without kinking it

For routing, the minimum bend radius on this hose is 4.92 inches. Staying at or above that bend radius is the key constraint for avoiding a kinked or overstressed bend.
