What size wrench do I need to tighten this fitting down good and snug?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 6, 2025, 8:08 AM
You'll want an 0.875 inch wrench, which should let you get a good grip on the hex part for tightening.
Question by: Dustin H on Feb 17, 2026, 3:58 PM
Part number on my old fitting is worn down pretty bad, but I'm pretty sure it's a 1/2 inch tube OD straight fitting with a 3/8-18 thread on one end. This the right one?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 19, 2026, 6:44 AM
Sounds like a solid match. The B end on this fitting runs a 3/8-18 thread, and the tube OD is 1/2 inch. The A end comes in at 13/16-16, so as long as that lines up with what you're connecting to on the other side, you'd be good to go. Supplier part number is FS2404-08-06, and it also crosses to AFF2031T0806S and FF2404-08-06 if either of those rings a bell from your old paperwork.

trying to swap out an old straight fitting, what threads does this one have on each end?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 29, 2025, 1:20 PM
On the A end it uses a 13/16-16 thread, and on the B end it uses a 3/8-18 thread. Both ends list a 0.378 inch drill size.
