The Eaton Aeroquip FS65 Series standard duty balanced pressure swivel joint features a 1-11/2 NPSM female pipe swivel casing thread and a 1-11/2 male pipe sleeve thread. It offers 360° rotation and utilizes a standard O-ring design and repair kits.

Designed with a balanced-pressure, low-drop configuration, this FS65 Series Standard Duty Balanced Pressure Swivel Joint also includes contamination seals. Buna-N seals are standard with -04 EPR and -06 Viton® available. It is rated to 3000 PSI.

what seal options come with this swivel joint, and are any of them better suited for petroleum-based fluids?

Buna-N is the standard seal and handles petroleum-based hydraulic fluids just fine for most shop and field applications. If you're running something more aggressive, EPR is available with the -04 suffix and Viton with the -06 suffix. For straight mineral oil or standard hydraulic fluid, the Buna-N that comes on the -01 version is going to hold up without any issue.

got a tight spot on a hose reel. does this swivel actually spin all the way around or is it limited?

For hose reels and other moving hydraulic connections, it gives you full 360° rotation, so the joint can turn continuously instead of binding up.
