Question by: Dean C on Dec 23, 2025, 12:07 PM
what's the tube OD on this elbow fitting, and does the 1/4 inch measurement refer to the outer diameter of the tubing it connects to?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 25, 2025, 6:43 AM
Correct on both counts. The tube OD listed is 1/4 inch, and that refers to the outer diameter of the tubing this fitting is designed to work with. The fitting itself is part of the FS6801-NWO-FG series and carries a 9/16-18 thread on both the male flareless and male O-ring boss ends, so as long as your tubing matches that 1/4 inch OD spec, you're in the right ballpark for a proper connection.

got a tight spot on a line, is this the forged 90 that’s 9/16-18 on both ends?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 4, 2025, 8:18 AM
For a compact 90 degree turn, this forged elbow uses 9/16-18 threads on both ends, so it matches setups that need that same thread size coming in and going out.
