The WEBTEC Sensors for HPM Series are designed for precise pressure and temperature measurement in hydraulic systems, ensuring reliable performance with an accuracy of ±0.5% Full Scale for pressure and ±3°C for temperature. These sensors can withstand a maximum pressure of 600 bar (8700 psi) and operate efficiently within a fluid temperature range of -25 to 105 °C (-13 to 221 °F). Designed with compatibility in mind, they integrate seamlessly with any HPM CAN Data Logger, making them a versatile addition to your hydraulic instrumentation setup.

Constructed from stainless steel 1.4303 with FKM seals for durability, the sensor is equipped with an M16 x 2 test point connector and an M12 5-Pin Code A electrical connection. It operates on a power supply of 7 – 15 V DC, and its IP54 rating ensures protection against dust and limited water ingress. Its lightweight design, at 0.3 kg (0.66 lbs), makes it easy to handle and install, while its robust materials guarantee long-lasting performance in demanding environments.

What type of fluids can this pressure temperature sensor handle?

For this sensor, it’s compatible with mineral oils that meet the ISO 11158 standard. If you have other fluids in mind, you might want to check for specific compatibility.

what fluids does this sensor work with, and are the wetted parts going to hold up to mineral oil long term?

Mineral oils meeting ISO 11158 are the rated compatible fluid for this sensor. The wetted internals are stainless steel, and the seals are FKM, which handles mineral oil well over extended use. If you're running something other than mineral oil, that falls outside the standard rating, though Webtec does note other fluids are available on request.
