CTA Series Heavy Duty Hydraulic System Flow Monitor CTA60-J19-B-6 | FT11417-02

Description & Features

The CTA Series heavy-duty WEBTEC hydraulic system flow monitor CTA60-J19-B-6 is built for demanding mobile and industrial machinery applications where reliable flow measurement and signal output are required in harsh conditions. Covering a flow range of 3 to 60 L/min (0.8 to 16 US gpm) with accuracy within ±1% of full scale, it handles system pressures up to 420 bar (6000 psi) and fluid temperatures from -40 to 85 °C (-40 to 185 °F).

The aluminium body connects via 3/4" BSPP porting and uses an M12 5-pin Code A electrical connector, powered from a 9 to 28 V DC supply. Sealed to IP6K9K, it withstands high-pressure water ingress and wash-down environments. FKM/EPDM seals support compatibility with mineral oils to ISO 11158. At 1.1 kg, it is a compact yet robust instrument suited to continuous service in mobile hydraulic systems.

Question by: Chad T on Jun 19, 2025, 10:16 AM
flow range on this thing goes down to 3 L/min, is that the actual usable minimum or just where accuracy starts to fall off?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 21, 2025, 7:10 AM
Reads reliably from 3 L/min up to 60 L/min, with accuracy held at plus or minus 1% of full scale across that range. The 3 L/min figure is the lower bound of the rated flow range, not a threshold where things start getting sloppy. Below that point you'd be outside the rated operating window, so readings there aren't guaranteed. For most hydraulic circuits running mineral oil, staying within that 3 to 60 L/min band keeps you in spec.
