The WEBTEC CTA Series heavy-duty flow monitor is designed for demanding hydraulic machinery where accurate, continuous measurement of flow and fluid temperature is required. The CTA060-MA-S-6 covers a flow range of 3–60 L/min (0.8–16 US gpm) with a rated accuracy of ±1% full scale, and is pressure-rated to 420 bar (6000 psi), making it suitable for high-pressure mobile and industrial hydraulic circuits.

Fluid temperatures from -40 to 85 °C (-40 to 185 °F) are accommodated, and the monitor accepts mineral oils to ISO 11158 as standard, with other fluids available on request. The aluminium body is sealed to IP6K9K for wash-down and high-pressure water ingress protection. Connectivity is via an M12 5-pin Code A connector drawing 9–28 V DC, with 1-1/16"-12UN SAE ORB porting for direct circuit integration. FKM/EPDM seals and internal steel and stainless steel components complete a robust, field-ready construction.

flow range on this unit is 3 to 60 liters per minute -- does that mean readings below 3 L/min just won't register, or will it still show something just not accurate?

Below 3 L/min, the meter is outside its rated operating range, so readings there aren't guaranteed to meet the ±1% full scale accuracy spec. Whether it displays a number below that threshold depends on the specific unit behavior, but you shouldn't rely on those low-end readings for anything that matters. If your system regularly runs under 3 L/min, this model isn't the right fit for that application.
