FI1500 Series Hydraulic In-Line Flow Indicator FI1500-200BBW | FT6238-13

Description & Features

The WEBTEC FI1500 Series in-line flow indicator is designed for continuous flow monitoring in hydraulic systems requiring both flow rate and temperature feedback. Model FI1500-200BBW covers a working range of 10 to 200 L/min (5 to 50 US gpm), with flow accuracy of ±4% full scale and temperature accuracy of ±2.5°C (±5°F).

Rated to 350 bar (5000 psi), the unit is built around a brass CW614N body with predominantly brass internals and FKM seals, making it well suited to mineral oil and water-based hydraulic fluids per ISO 11158. Main ports are sized at 1-1/2" BSPP, with 1/4" BSPP top ports for additional connections. Fluid temperatures up to 80°C (176°F) are supported in continuous service, with short-term tolerance to 110°C (230°F). Ambient use spans -10 to 50°C (14 to 122°F). At 8.3 kg (18 lbs), the unit is a robust choice for demanding hydraulic test and monitoring applications.

Question by: Ross F on Aug 23, 2025, 9:50 AM
what's the max pressure this thing handles? running a system that spikes to around 4800 psi sometimes and I don't want to blow out a meter
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 25, 2025, 7:46 AM
Rated to 350 bar, which works out to just over 5000 psi. A system spiking to 4800 psi sits comfortably inside that limit, so you'd have a reasonable margin there. Flow range runs from 10 to 200 L/min (5 to 50 US gpm), so as long as your normal operating flow falls in that window, you're in good shape on both counts.
