Got a hydraulic setup running at 10,000 psi and need to join two 3/8 inch NPTF male ends together. this hex nipple do the trick?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 23, 2025, 9:46 AM
At 10,000 psi max operating pressure and with 3/8 inch NPTF male threads on both ends, that's exactly what this fitting is built for. The hex body also gives you a solid wrench grip during assembly, which makes getting a proper torque on it a lot easier than wrestling with a bare nipple.
Question by: Rusty E on Aug 16, 2025, 4:03 PM
got a cylinder setup that’s already 3/8 nptf on both ends. is this the right close nipple to tie two male ports together?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 18, 2025, 7:49 AM
For joining two 3/8 inch NPTF female ports, this hex nipple is the piece that bridges them. Both ends are 3/8 inch NPTF male, so it is meant for a same-size, male-to-male connection.
