Description & Features

The H Series Spool Geroler from Danfoss / Eaton Char-Lynn is designed for heavy-duty agricultural and industrial applications such as agricultural augers harvesters seeders sweepers and floor polishers. Offering a displacement of 17.90 cu in/rev this motor features a compact yet powerful design.

This motor's 4 bolt mounting flange provides enhanced stability and easy installation. Its 1 in. straight keyed shaft ensures a secure connection while the 1/2 NPT ports facilitate efficient fluid transfer.

The motor supports a maximum operating temperature of 180F ensuring reliability under extensive use. It features extended bearing life and an increased shaft seal to reduce the risk of leakage enhancing the durability of the motor.

Designed to operate with a maximum case pressure of 1500 PSI this motor requires premium quality anti-wear type hydraulic fluid. Recommended filtration is per ISO Cleanliness Code level 18/13 ensuring optimal performance.

To achieve the best motor life a recommended break-in period involves running the motor for approximately one hour at 30% of rated pressure before full load application. Fluid viscosity should be at least the highest of 100 SUS or (20 x PSI) / RPM = SUS at operating temperature for optimal performance.

what's the break-in procedure for this motor before puttin it under full load?

Run it for about an hour at 30% of rated pressure before you go to full load. Make sure the motor is filled with fluid before you apply any load at all. Skipping that break-in period puts extra wear on the internals right from the start, so it's worth the extra time up front to get the most life out of it.

got a hyd motor with 1/2 npt lines and a 4 bolt mount, will this one bolt up and hook up without a bunch of adapters?

It matches what you’re describing: a 4 bolt mounting flange and 1/2 NPT ports with .500-14 NPTF dryseal pipe threads. The output is a 1 inch straight keyed shaft, so your coupler or sprocket needs to match that shaft style and size.
