this hose work for a small engine fuel line? running carbureted setup, not fuel injected
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 11, 2025, 8:16 AM
Carbureted setups are exactly what this hose is built for. It carries the SAE 30R7 certification, which covers low pressure fuel applications in passenger cars, light trucks, and small engines. Fuel injected systems run at much higher pressures and this hose is not rated for that, so you're on the right track keeping it to a carbureted application. The Nitrile tube interior and Neoprene cover hold up well under high temperature conditions, which is where a lot of small engine fuel lines take a beating.

got an old carbureted small engine that needs new fuel hose. is this H057 series alright for that kind of job?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 27, 2025, 3:22 PM
For low pressure, high temperature fuel service on passenger cars, light trucks, and small engines, this hose is a good fit. It uses a nitrile tube with fiber reinforcement and a neoprene cover, and it is built to SAE 30R7.

Can this hose handle regular gasoline alright for my old pickup?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 4, 2025, 12:13 PM
This Eaton Aeroquip hose is constructed with a Neoprene cover and fiber reinforcement, making it suitable for low-pressure, high-temperature fuel applications like those found in older passenger cars, light trucks, and small engines that use gasoline.
