got a half inch air line setup already. is this the -8 hose and what’s it meant to run?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 25, 2025, 6:01 AM
For air and general multipurpose service, this is a -8 dash socketless hose with a 1/2 inch ID. It has a 1 ply braid with a synthetic rubber tube and cover, and it’s built for standard abrasion resistance.
Question by: Hubert J on Jan 2, 2026, 5:22 PM
what's the lowest temp this hose can handle? got some outdoor air lines that freeze up pretty good come wintertime
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 4, 2026, 1:12 PM
Rated down to -40 degrees, so cold snaps aren't going to be a problem for it. The synthetic rubber tube and cover hold up at that temperature without getting brittle or cracking the way some cheaper hoses do. For outdoor air runs in harsh winters, that rating gives you solid headroom.
Question by: Floyd E on Nov 11, 2025, 6:36 AM

Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 12, 2025, 3:30 PM
