Designed for use with the Concentric HE2000 Series power unit platform, the HE2000 Series Barnes HE2000 Tube Kit (1QT A DWN W) supports both repair of existing units and custom unit assembly. These kits are compatible with the full HE2000 Series lineup, which accommodates AC and DC motor configurations, including 12V and 24V series and compound wound DC motors, and single or three-phase AC motors rated for 115V, 230V, and 460V.

The HE2000 Series supports W Series pressure-balanced gear pumps and GC Series fixed-clearance gear pumps, with cartridge-style relief valves and optional pressure-compensated flow regulators for controlled lowering speeds between 1 and 4 gpm. Recommended system cleanliness is ISO 4406 level 18/14 or better, with petroleum-based fluids in the 80–288 SSU viscosity range and an operating temperature range of -13°F to 175°F. Catalog number C1MN24 applies to this kit.

got a HE2000 power unit on the bench. is this tube kit actually meant for that series, or am i about to order the wrong thing

For the Concentric HE2000 Series power units, this is the matching tube kit, catalog number C1MN24 (supplier part 1300943). The HE2000 line uses the same adapter size across all HE2000 units, so you are not juggling different adapter sizes within that series.

Minimum recommended operating temperature sits right at -13 degrees Fahrenheit. You will also want to ensure your cold start viscosity stays at or below 9000 SSU when firing it up in freezing weather.

Both, actually. These kits are set up to either repair or modify existing HE2000 Series power units, or to build a custom HE2000 Series unit from the ground up.
