This Concentric Rockford Inc HE2000 Series power unit relief valve, designed for industrial hydraulic applications, offers dependable performance and extended service life. The cartridge-style relief valve meets demanding specifications, ensuring reliability in critical hydraulic functions.

The HE2000 Series BARNES HE2000 RELIEF VALVE 1500-2500 PSI is compatible with a range of components within the HE2000 series, including pumps, motors, and valves. This valve supports a broad spectrum of hydraulic fluids, with an optimum operating viscosity range of 80-288 SSU. It can be used with DC and AC motors, with flanges designed for standard high-efficiency single or 3-phase motors.

This relief valve is designed for systems where an ISO 4406 cleanliness level of 18/14 or better is maintained. It functions effectively within a temperature range of -13°F to 175°F. Part of the Concentric HE2000 Series Power Units, it is equipped with the same adapter size as all HE2000 units.

gets pretty cold out in the winter time in the shop. what is the lowest temp this thing is rated to run at?

Operating in freezing environments is absolutely fine down to -13 degrees Fahrenheit. You just need to make sure your fluid viscosity stays within the allowable cold start limit of 9000 SSU at those lower temperatures.

For HE2000 Series power units, this is the cartridge style relief valve used in that family of units, with an adjustable relief range of 1500 to 2500 PSI. It’s intended for repairing or modifying existing HE2000 units, and it’s also used when building custom HE2000 Series power units.
