Question by: Harold L on Jul 20, 2025, 10:23 AM
what exactly makes this a "true ID" hose versus just a regular schedule 80, is that a sizing thing or something else?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 22, 2025, 6:17 AM
True ID means the inside diameter stays at the full nominal size across the hose wall, so when you're sizing fittings or calculating flow, the bore you're working with matches exactly what the spec says. Regular hose can vary on that. With schedule 80 construction layered on top of that, the walls are heavier and built to handle more pressure and mechanical stress than standard duty versions. For any application where consistent flow path and structural toughness both matter, that combination makes a real difference.

trying to keep it simple, does this 2 inch Anco piece need any calibration or extra add-ons to run right?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 1, 2025, 6:57 AM
No extra adjustment or calibration is part of the setup, and it is meant to work without adding components like a check valve or a switch connector. The whole idea is a simpler install and less fuss during maintenance.
