Rated for continuous duty in closed-loop hydrostatic drive systems, this Eaton Heavy Duty Hydrostatic Motor, 5.44 cu in/rev, SAE C 4-Bolt Mounting Flange, 14T SAE C Splined Shaft, 1 Inch Code 61 Ports, 5000.00 PSI High Pressure Relief delivers reliable torque output in demanding mobile and industrial applications. The SAE C 4-bolt mounting flange and 14-tooth SAE C splined shaft provide a secure, standardized interface compatible with common drive configurations.

Built around a high-strength cast iron housing, this fixed-displacement motor is rated to 6000 PSI peak pressure with a 10,000-hour B10 bearing design life and a maximum continuous speed of 3720 RPM. The bi-metal bearing plate combines steel for high-speed and pressure capability with bronze for improved bearing performance. Charge pressure relief is set at 220 PSI, and the unit is Pro-FX ready for advanced machine control integration. Recommended system filtration is ISO 4406 cleanliness level 18/13 or cleaner.

motor's been running hot in our combine drive setup, what's the temp ceiling before we're asking for trouble?

Continuous operation should stay at or below 180°F. You've got some room up to 220°F for short intermittent spikes, but that's not a number you want to hang around near for long. Keeping it under that 180°F mark in day-to-day use is what protects the bearings and keeps the unit running through the season.
