The HF2P Series Pressure Filter is engineered to meet ANSI specifications and ISO cleanliness standards with a compact design that is compatible with servo and proportional valves. This product offers visual, electrical, and electrical indicators with lamp options, ensuring real-time monitoring.
The ductile iron head and carbon steel bowl construction provide durability and strength. This filter is rated for up to 24 GPM and can handle maximum operating pressures of 4000 PSI, making it ideal for pressure lines in mobile and industrial hydraulic systems.
The filter supports high collapse elements for non-bypass applications with a collapse rating of 250 PSID for C-Pak and 3000 PSID for H-Pak elements. Elements are available with high-performance 5-layer media, featuring Vickers glass microfiber media combined with non-woven synthetic diffuser layers. Upstream and downstream support is provided by either epoxy-coated carbon steel or 304 stainless steel mesh.
Designed for use with petroleum oil, water glycol, oil-in-water, and water-in-oil fluids, the standard seals are Buna-N with optional Vitonreg; seals available for phosphate ester fluids. It accommodates SAE-12 St.Thd O-Ring ports and includes a machined and plugged filter head for optional differential pressure indicators. Operating temperature ranges from -15deg; F to 250deg; F.

Question by: Floyd W on Jan 19, 2026, 2:01 PM
running this on a pressure line, what’s it actually rated for on flow and pressure?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 21, 2026, 6:19 AM
For pressure-line filtration in mobile or industrial hydraulic systems, the HF2P1SA4JNB2 is rated up to 24 GPM with the 8 inch length element setup, and it has a maximum operating pressure of 4000 PSI.
Question by: Bonnie M on Feb 8, 2026, 6:10 PM
filter's rated up to 24 GPM, but does that hold for both element lengths or just the longer one?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 9, 2026, 8:26 PM
Flow rating depends on which element size you're running. The 4-inch element handles up to 12 GPM, and the 8-inch element is what gets you up to the full 24 GPM. So if you're pulling close to that upper limit, you'll want to make sure you've got the 8-inch element in place.
Question by: Larry W on Jun 11, 2025, 3:46 PM
putting this on a pressure line, what’s it really meant to protect, and where do folks usually mount it
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 13, 2025, 11:51 AM
Built for pressure lines in mobile and industrial hydraulic systems, it’s a compact pressure filter meant to keep oil clean to ANSI and ISO cleanliness expectations, including setups using servo and proportional valves. Any mounting position is allowed, but vertical mounting is preferred since it makes servicing easier.
