Application	For use in return lines of mobile and industrial hydraulic systems where space saving in-tank style design is desired.
Element	(C-pak Elements): High performance absolute rated 5-layer media featuring proprietary Vickers glass micro fiber media with special resin binder placed between non woven synthetic diffuser layers, with epoxy coated carbon steel mesh upstream & downstream support.
Element Collapse Rating	150 PSID.
Features	Designed to comply with ANSI specifications and ISO cleanliness standards • Conforms to HF4 specifications • Gauge and electrical switch options available to monitor element loading • In-tank configuration minimizes space requirements and potential system leakage points • Optional secondary port allows filtration of a second return line without additional fittings, or allows for a filtered fill port.
Flow Rating	50 GPM (9 inch element). 100 GPM (18 inch element). 120 GPM (27 inch element).
Fluids & Seals	Suitable for use with petroleum based and most water glycol, oil-in-water and water-in-oil fluids. Buna-N seals are standard. Synthetic fluids require optional Viton® seals.
Indicators	Filter head is drilled & tapped 1/8 NPT (and plugged) for optional pressure gauge or switch.
Materials	Aluminum head and cover. Carbon steel bowl.
Maximum Operating Pressure	100 PSI.
Temperature Range	-25° F to 250°F.

How much space do I need to leave around the bowl for changing out the filter?

For in-tank return filters like these HF4RT series, space savings is the primary goal. However, you'll still need enough clearance to remove the carbon steel bowl for element replacement. Since the bowl length varies depending on the element size (9, 18, or 27 inch), make sure you account for that total length plus a few inches to maneuver it out.
