Question by: Hugh T on Jun 21, 2025, 7:23 AM
what's the difference between this banjo fitting and a regular length one? trying to figure out if the extra long neck is gonna cause me any fitment issues on a tight install
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 23, 2025, 6:11 AM
The extra-long neck gives you more clearance between the banjo bolt and the mating surface, which comes in handy when the port is recessed or when surrounding hardware makes a standard-length neck hard to seat properly. In tighter installs, that added length can actually work in your favor since it lets the hose or line clear obstructions without needing to bend at a sharp angle right off the fitting. Whether it fits your specific setup depends on the space you're working with, but the design is intentional for applications where a standard neck just won't reach or clear cleanly.

extra long neck on this banjo fitting, what’s that actually help with?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 11, 2026, 2:35 PM
Having the extra-long neck gives you more reach and a little more room to work in tight or awkward hydraulic setups, while still keeping the banjo-style connection secure for fluid transfer.
