Got an older brake line setup where the routing runs opposite the usual direction, would this left-hand banjo be the right call for that kind of situation?

Left-hand banjo fittings exist specifically for brake line configurations where the port angle runs counter to a standard right-hand fitting. If your line path curves or exits in a direction that a conventional fitting would fight against, the left-hand orientation on this one lets the fitting sit flush and align naturally with the routing. It's a 10x8mm, so as long as your banjo bolt and line size match up, this should sort out that fitment issue cleanly.
