fitting rotates freely once installed, right? trying to sort out a tight hose routing on a brake line job and need something that ain't gonna fight me on angle

the banjo body rotates a full 360 degrees around the bolt once it's assembled. That's the whole point of this style of fitting. You run the hollow bolt through the banjo eye, seat your copper washers on both sides, and then you can swing the hose end to whatever angle clears your routing before you torque everything down. Makes a real difference in tight spots where a fixed fitting would leave you fighting the hose.
