Designed for reliability and precision, this coupling spider is constructed from durable Buna-N material, ensuring optimal performance in various industrial applications.
Typically used to connect hydraulic pumps to electric motors, this coupling spider compensates for minor angular and center line misalignments, preventing metal-to-metal contact and ensuring smooth operation.
With a maximum angular offset capability of 1deg; and a maximum parallel offset capability of 0.015 inches, the coupling offers flexibility and precision in alignment.
Installation is straightforward, and the parts are rust-resistant and precision-ground for enhanced durability.
Ideal for use in environments with temperatures ranging from -20deg;F to 180deg;F, this coupling spider ensures consistent performance under varying conditions.

got an FC075 coupling on a pump and motor setup. is this the right spider for it?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 29, 2025, 8:28 PM
This Buna-N spider is meant for use with FC075 coupling sizes, so it matches that coupling size.
Question by: Todd K on Jan 25, 2026, 11:58 AM
what's the temperature range on the buna-n spider? got an application that runs pretty warm and want to make sure it holds up
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 27, 2026, 6:22 AM
Buna-N material on this spider is rated from -20°F up to 180°F. Long as your operating temps stay under that 180°F ceiling, you're in good shape. If you're running hotter than that regular basis, the urethane version handles the same upper limit but drops way lower on the cold end, so material choice really comes down to your specific conditions.
