Product Questions & Answers (2)

Question by: Howard E on Aug 9, 2025, 3:12 PM
What kind of fittings work best with this hose?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 11, 2025, 7:08 AM
For secure connections, crimp, swage, or interlocking clamp fittings are recommended. Boss Ground joint, Air hammer, and Air king fittings are good options to consider for compatibility.
Question by: Neal W on Jul 15, 2025, 5:29 PM
got a 1-inch air line running to a rock drill out at the site, this hose rated for that kind of work or is it more of a light-duty thing?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 17, 2025, 7:12 AM
Rock drill and air hammer applications are exactly what this hose is built around. The nitrile blend tube handles oil-contaminated air lines, and the high-tensile steel wire reinforcement keeps it from giving out under the pressure swings that come with pneumatic tool use. It's rated to 600 PSI, so there's plenty of headroom for typical drilling and hammer operation. The yellow cover is pin-pricked and rated against abrasion, ozone, and weather, which matters when the hose is dragging across rock or sitting in the elements between shifts.
