This wire-braid hydraulic hose assembly from SPX Hydraulic Technologies features a 0.25 inch inside diameter and a 10 foot length. The rubber hose is MSHA approved and reinforced with two braids of high tensile steel wire, offering robust performance and durability. It is oil and weather resistant for reliable use in demanding environments.
The rubber, wire-braid hydraulic hose assembly includes 3/8 inch NPTF fittings on both ends and a plastic guard. Designed for a maximum operating pressure of 10000 PSI and a burst pressure of 20000 PSI, it complies with MHI standard IJ100.

Product Questions & Answers (2)
Question by: Travis E on Aug 12, 2025, 10:23 AM
hose is rated to 10,000 psi but what happens if pressure spikes above that during operation, is there any safety margin built in?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 14, 2025, 6:23 AM
Burst pressure on this assembly comes in at 20,000 psi, which is exactly double the rated working pressure of 10,000 psi. That 2:1 ratio gives you a real cushion against pressure spikes that happen during normal hydraulic operation. Just keep in mind the 10,000 psi figure is the max you want to run it at continuously. The burst rating is a safety margin, not a second operating range.
Question by: Billy B on Dec 14, 2025, 1:51 PM
got a press that runs 10,000 psi. is this hose assembly actually rated for that, or is that just the burst number
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 15, 2025, 4:52 PM
Max operating pressure on this assembly is 10,000 PSI, and the burst pressure is 20,000 PSI. So 10,000 PSI is the working rating, not the burst figure.
