High Pressure Rubber Hydraulic Hose, 0.25 Inch ID, 10 Foot Length, 3/8 NPT & CH-604 Male Coupler Half Ends

Description & Features

Designed for demanding industrial applications this high-pressure rubber hydraulic hose offers a 0.25-inch inside diameter and extends to a length of 10 feet. It features a robust rubber cover reinforced with two layers of braided steel adhering to Material Handling Institute IJ-100 hose specifications.

Equipped with 3/8 NPT and CH-604 male coupler half ends the hose ensures secure and reliable connections. Its flexible construction exhibiting minimal memory proves optimal for extensive hose runs. The hose's crimped-on rubber strain relief enhances its lifespan and durability.

Operating under a maximum pressure of 10 000 PSI it is imperative not to exceed this limit to maintain safety and efficiency. When using longer hose lengths additional pump reservoir filling might be necessarycalculate hose oil capacity using the formula provided for either 1/4 ID or 3/8 ID hoses.

Warning: Do not handle hoses under pressure.

got a pump with 3/8 npt on it. will this hose hook up right, or am i gonna be fighting fittings
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 12, 2025, 1:42 PM
The hose comes with a 3/8 NPT end on one side and a CH-604 male coupler half on the other, so it is set up to thread into a 3/8 NPT port and connect to a matching CH-604 coupler.

hose is rated to 10k PSI, but what happens if i accidentally bump past that? is there a built in safety margin or do these just let go all at once?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 27, 2025, 7:25 AM
The 10,000 PSI rating is the maximum operating pressure, and exceeding it puts you in unsafe territory. The product documentation is clear that you should not go past that limit, and for good reason. Hydraulic hoses under overpressure don't always fail gradually. The crimped-on rubber strain relief helps with durability at normal operating conditions, but it's not a substitute for staying within the rated pressure. Keep your system controlled below that ceiling and you won't have to find out what the margins look like.

What kinda fluid do these hoses use? Just regular hydraulic oil, or something special?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 1, 2026, 7:17 PM
Designed for demanding industrial jobs, this hose works with standard hydraulic fluids.
