Engineered for fluid transfer and hydraulic applications the Eaton HK Series Steel Quick Disconnects provide a reliable solution. Conforming to ISO standard 7241-1 Series B this product ensures compatibility and quality.

The self-sealing poppet valve design enhances sealing in both high and low-pressure scenarios. Standard seals are crafted from Buna-N with available options such as PTFE Neoprene FKM EPDM and Kalrez for specific requirements. Additionally PTFE back-up rings are integrated into the socket (female) end.

The coupling size is -06 while the second end measures 0.771 inches and is designed as female. This product does not require thread sealant. The maximum temperature range extends from -65F for Neoprene and EPDM to +400F for FKM.

what seal material comes standard on these HK series dust caps, and can you swap it out for something that handles higher temps?

Buna-N is the standard seal, which is rated from -40°F up to +250°F. If that range doesn't cut it for your setup, there are several alternatives available. FKM goes up to +400°F on the high end, making it the best choice for high-heat environments. EPDM and Neoprene both push down to -65°F if cold temps are the concern. PTFE and Kalrez are also options depending on what fluids you're running. So yes, there's flexibility built into the product line to match different operating conditions.

Trying to keep dirt out of my -06 quick disconnect, is this the right dust cap for an ISO 7241-1 Series B setup?
