The EATON Male Plug Dust Cap is designed to meet ISO standard 7241-1 Series B dimensional requirements ensuring compatibility in industrial applications related to fluid transfer and hydraulics. This dust cap protects hydraulic connections with a self-sealing poppet valve that excels in both high and low-pressure sealing.

Constructed with PTFE back-up rings in the sockets it ensures robust sealing and durability. The standard Buna-N seal is complemented by available options like PTFE Neoprene FKM EPDM and Kalrez accommodating various operational requirements.

Temperature ranges are maintained with considerable stability: Buna-N from -40F to +250F Neoprene from -65F to +212F EPDM from -65F to +300F and FKM from -15F to +400F.

what seal options come with this dust cap, and does the standard one hold up alright in colder temps?

Buna-N comes standard and handles a range from -40F up to 250F, so it holds up fine in cold conditions most folks run into. If your setup gets colder than that or runs hotter than 250F, there are other seal materials available including Neoprene, PTFE, FKM, EPDM, and Kalrez. EPDM and Neoprene both go down to -65F on the cold end, with EPDM reaching up to 300F on the high side. FKM tops out at 400F if you're running in a real hot environment but its lower limit is only -15F so it ain't the pick for cold-weather work.
