Designed to meet ISO standard 7241-1 Series B this coupling ensures reliable performance across various applications. The self-sealing poppet valve design provides exceptional high and low pressure sealing.

The standard seal material is Buna-N with additional options available in PTFE Neoprene FKM EPDM and Kalrez. These seals enhance compatibility with different hydraulic fluids.

HK Series Industrial Interchange Series B Dust Plug -06 Coupling offers PTFE back up rings in female sockets for added durability. The coupling size is -06 and the end gender is male with a 0.375 size.

Operating temperature ranges for the seals include: Buna-N (-40F to +250F) Neoprene (-65F to +212F) EPDM (-65F to +300F) FKM (-15F to +400F).

what seal should I be using if my hydraulic fluid runs pretty hot, temps pushing up around 350 degrees or so?

For sustained heat in that range, EPDM is your best fit here. It holds up from -65F all the way to +300F, which puts your 350-degree operation just at the edge. If you're regularly hitting or exceeding that, FKM is the stronger call since it handles up to +400F and has a low end of -15F. Buna-N tops out at 250F and Neoprene at 212F, so either of those would be getting cooked at your temps. FKM gives you the most headroom on the high end.
