The HK Series Industrial Interchange Series B Dust Plug -08 Coupling adheres to ISO 7241-1 Series B dimensional standards and incorporates a self-sealing poppet valve design for robust high and low-pressure sealing.

Constructed with standard Buna-N seals this coupling also accommodates seal material options in PTFE Neoprene FKM EPDM and Kalrez to cater to varying operational needs.

Operating temperature ranges vary including -40F to +250F for Buna-N -65F to +212F for Neoprene -65F to +300F for EPDM and -15F to +400F for FKM.

To enhance durability PTFE backup rings are embedded within the sockets (females).

got a -08 quick disconnect, is this dust plug the right series for it?

what seal does this plug come with standard, and are there other options if i need something for higher temps?

Buna-N is the standard seal, which handles a range from -40F up to 250F. If your application runs hotter or involves fluids that aren't compatible with Buna-N, there are several alternatives available: Neoprene, PTFE, FKM, EPDM, and Kalrez. FKM tops out at 400F on the high end, making it the go-to choice when heat is a real concern. EPDM stretches down to -65F and up to 300F, which covers a lot of ground for cold-weather or moderate-heat setups.
