HK Series Industrial Interchange Series B Steel Hydraulic Quick Disconnect, Female Half, -10 Coupling, 1/2-14 Female NPT

Description & Features

This hydraulic quick disconnect coupling, made by Danfoss Power Solutions, dynamically meets ISO 7241-1 Series B dimensional requirements.

The -10 coupling size and 1/2-14 female NPT provide a reliable Push to Connect end type. Constructed from industrial interchange series B steel, this product features a self-sealing poppet valve for excellent high and low-pressure sealing.

Standard Buna-N seals are included, operating efficiently in temperatures from -40deg;F to +250deg;F. Alternate seal options such as PTFE, Neoprene, FKM, EPDM, and Kalrezreg; are also available.

Applications span multiple industries including agriculture, hydraulic tools, construction, fluid transfer, transportation, military, law enforcement/rescue, chemical, oil and gas, HVAC, food and beverage, trucks, aerospace, and medical.

Air inclusion max is 3.60 cubic centimeters with fluid loss at 3.50 cubic centimeters.

Maximum operation temperature range, dependent on seal material, varies from -65deg;F to +400deg;F.

Featuring PTFE backup rings in sockets, the 4HP26 offers robust performance without a safety locking mechanism or thread sealant.

Question by: Wade R on Jul 27, 2025, 8:47 AM
Trying to match up a socket I’ve already got, what thread is on this female half and what coupling size is it?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 28, 2025, 2:40 PM
For fitment, it’s a -10 coupling size with a 1/2-14 female NPTF thread on the socket side.
Question by: Dustin M on Apr 1, 2025, 1:02 PM
got a 1/2-14 female npt port on my hose end, is this the right female quick disconnect half for that, or am i mixing things up
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 2, 2025, 3:43 PM
This is the female half (socket) with a 1/2-14 female NPTF thread and a -10 coupling size. It also uses a push to connect style on the coupling side, so it is meant to mate by pushing the matching male tip in, not by threading the halves together.
Question by: Chad C on Dec 4, 2025, 6:50 AM
What kind of temperatures can these things handle? Just need something that can take the heat, y'know?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 5, 2025, 8:01 AM
Maximum operating temperature for the Buna-N seals on this quick disconnect is -40°F to +250°F. There are alternate seal options available, but those have different temperature ranges, from -65°F to +400°F, depending on the material.
