The HK Series Industrial Interchange Series B Steel Hydraulic Quick Disconnect Male Half -16 Coupling 1-11-1/2 Female NPT by Danfoss Power Solutions (II LLC Aeroquip) seamlessly integrates with fluid transfer and hydraulic applications. Ideal for agriculture transportation and general industry it meets ISO standard 7241-1 Series B requirements and features a self-sealing poppet valve design for optimal high and low pressure sealing.

Primarily designed for hydraulic tool functions the coupling size is -16 with a push-to-connect end type and 1-11-1/2 NPTF threading. Durable Buna-N standard seal material ensures longevity while PTFE back up rings in sockets enhance performance. Additional seal material options include PTFE Neoprene FKM EPDM and Kalrezreg;.

Suitable for extreme temperature ranges the maximum operating temperatures are: Buna-N -40deg;F to +250deg;F Neoprene -65deg;F to +212deg;F EPDM -65deg;F to +300deg;F and FKM C/-15deg;F to +400deg;F. Boasting an air inclusion maximum of 18.00 cubic centimeters and fluid loss of 16.90 cubic centimeters this quick disconnect coupling is engineered for high efficiency.

what seal material comes standard on this coupling, and how hot can it run before I oughta start worrying?

Buna-N is the standard seal material on this coupling. It handles temperatures from -40 degrees F up to 250 degrees F, which covers the vast majority of hydraulic work in agriculture, construction, and general shop use. If your application runs hotter than that, seal upgrades are available in Neoprene, EPDM, FKM, and Kalrez, with FKM being the top end at up to 400 degrees F.
