Designed for optimal performance in demanding fluid transfer environments this industrial interchange Series B brass hydraulic quick disconnect coupling offers a reliable female half connection. It meets ISO standard 7241-1 Series B dimensional requirements and operates efficiently with a self-sealing poppet valve that ensures excellent sealing under high and low pressure conditions. The brass construction enhanced with stainless steel springs provides superior corrosion resistance and fluid compatibility.
Engineered for versatility this quick disconnect is suitable for a wide range of applications including hydraulic tools agriculture construction general industry law enforcement oil and gas and more. With a temperature tolerance ranging from -40deg;F to +250deg;F for Buna-N seals it ensures reliable performance across various temperature conditions.
The product features a 3/4-14 female NPT thread and a -12 coupling size. Its fluid loss is minimized to 9.30 cubic centimeters while air inclusion is restricted to 11.50 cubic centimeters. Standard seal material is Buna-N with optional seals available in PTFE Neoprene FKM EPDM and Kalrezreg;.

How tough is the brass on this thing? I need it to hold up outside.
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 5, 2025, 2:37 PM
Brass construction along with stainless steel springs gives it better corrosion resistance and makes it more compatible with different fluids, so it should hold up well for outdoor use.
Question by: Earl W on Apr 2, 2026, 5:48 PM
What kind of seal comes standard on this coupling, and are there other options if I'm running something other than hydraulic oil?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 4, 2026, 6:51 AM
Buna-N is the standard seal material, which handles most hydraulic fluid applications just fine. If your system runs something more aggressive, there are several alternatives available: PTFE, Neoprene, FKM, EPDM, and Kalrez. Each of those seal options also carries its own temperature range. Neoprene and EPDM both go down to -65°F, EPDM tops out at +300°F, and FKM handles up to +400°F if you're dealing with high heat. So depending on your fluid and your operating temps, there's likely a seal option that fits what you're working with.
