Question by: Tony S on Apr 28, 2025, 10:46 AM
firesleeve says 1.50 ID -- does that mean it'll fit snug over a standard 1.5 inch hose or do i need to go up a size?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 30, 2025, 6:26 AM
For a hose with a 1.5 inch outer diameter, you'd generally want to size up. The 1.50 inch ID on this sleeve refers to its inner diameter, so it's built to fit around hoses whose outside measurement is at or close to that figure. If your hose OD runs right at 1.5 inches, the fit should work, but a hose that's noticeably larger on the outside won't slide in cleanly. Worth measuring your hose OD before ordering to make sure you're in the right range.

got a 1.50 inch hose, is this sleeve the right size or is that 1.50 measured different
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 27, 2025, 10:03 AM
The 1.50 inch dimension on this part is the sleeve ID, so it is sized as a 1.50 inch inside diameter fire sleeve.
