The Ultra Clean Tech Corp Hose/Tube Cleaning Projectile UC07 is essential for maintaining cleanliness in hydraulic and pneumatic lines, fuel lines, food and beverage lines, steam pipes, heat exchangers, and air conditioning and refrigeration systems.

With a diameter slightly larger than the internal diameter of the hose or tube, it efficiently dislodges and removes contaminants. The projectile operates within a pressure range of 85 PSI to 150 PSI, ensuring optimal performance.

A variety of nozzle sizes and types are available, including Hose & Pipe, JIC, Tube, and BSP styles, ensuring broad compatibility with different fittings. The locking faceplate of the launcher unit facilitates easy nozzle size changes and provides a secure seal using O-Ring seals. The air inlet port features a quick disconnect coupling, and the trigger mechanism allows precise projectile firing.

Need to know how exactly to size these. I got 1/4 inch hydraulic hoses, does this projectile fit right in there or do I need it slightly bigger

For lines 2 inches and under in diameter, the rule of thumb is that the projectile needs to be about 20% larger than the internal opening you are cleaning. Since the UC07 is made specifically for a 0.28-inch inside diameter, it provides the exact oversized fit required to properly wipe out a standard 1/4-inch hose without getting caught up.

i'm cleaning a 1/4 inch hose, is UC07 the right size or am i gonna fight it

these come in packs of 100, right? and they'll work for a quarter-inch hose ID?

Correct on both counts. The UC07 projectiles are sold in packs of 100 and are sized for a 0.28-inch internal diameter, which covers standard 1/4-inch hose applications. At roughly 20% larger than the hose ID, they're sized to compress and seat properly as they travel through, which is what actually pulls the contaminants out. Just make sure you're running somewhere between 85 and 150 PSI through the launcher so they move through clean and consistent.
