The ULTRA CLEAN TECH CORP Hose/Tube Cleaning Projectile UC36 is engineered for efficient cleaning of hydraulic and pneumatic lines fuel lines food and beverage lines steam pipes heat exchangers condensers air conditioning and refrigeration systems. Designed to fit a 1.42-inch inner diameter hose or tube it ensures thorough internal cleaning removing contaminants and debris.

The product features a 1-inch Schedule 40 projectile that fits a variety of nozzles including hose and pipe BSP JIC and tube styles. This flexibility makes it suitable for diverse industrial applications. For optimal results the projectile should be approximately 20% larger than the I.D. for sizes 2 inches or less.

The launcher unit includes an air inlet port with quick disconnect coupling a trigger mechanism for firing the projectile and O-ring seals for positive sealing. The locking faceplate allows for easy nozzle size change. The pressure range for effective use spans from a minimum of 85 PSI to a maximum of 150 PSI.

got a hose that measures about 1.42 on the inside. is UC36 the right projectile size for that?

Fit is based on hose or tube inside diameter. UC36 is meant for a 1.42 inch I.D. line (listed I.D. is 1.4173 in). For I.D. sizes 2 inches or less, the projectile outside diameter is typically about 20% larger than the I.D. so it wipes the inside as it travels.

what's the right pressure to run one of these projectiles through a 1.42 inch line? got an air supply but not sure if what i got is enough

Anywhere from 85 to 150 PSI will get the job done. Below 85 and you're not likely to get a clean pass through, and you don't want to push past 150 either. Most shop air setups in that range will work fine as long as your supply stays steady through the shot.
