Engineered for efficient cleaning, this projectile is specifically designed for a 1.97-inch internal diameter, making it ideal for various industrial applications. Suitable for hydraulic and pneumatic lines, fuel lines, food and beverage lines, steam pipes, heat exchangers, condensers, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems.
The locking faceplate pivots for easy nozzle size change and ensures a secure fit with O-ring seals. The air inlet port with a quick disconnect coupling simplifies setup, and the trigger mechanism ensures precise firing.
A variety of nozzle sizes are offered in four styles: hose & pipe, JIC, tube, and BSP, providing adaptability for different cleaning tasks. The projectile's optimal sizing is determined by the internal diameter it is meant to clean, based on specific guidelines.
With a pressure range of 85 PSI minimum to 150 PSI maximum, the system is robust and reliable. For additional details regarding launcher and nozzle options, contact us for expert assistance.

Question by: Debbie C on Mar 17, 2026, 9:13 AM
got one of these stuck in my hose earlier. how do you get it out
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 19, 2026, 6:09 AM
Firing an empty discharge from the opposite end of the hose is the best way to clear a jammed plug. Hooking your launcher up to the reverse side creates enough back pressure to push it right out.
Question by: Merle G on Mar 14, 2026, 6:27 AM
got a hose that measures right at 1.97 inch on the inside. is the UC50 the right projectile size for that?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 15, 2026, 11:36 AM
For a 1.9685 inch I.D., the UC50 matches that bore size. The sizing guidance for 2 inches or less says the projectile O.D. is typically about 20% larger than the I.D. so it wipes the inside wall as it travels.
Question by: Shawn C on Dec 16, 2025, 11:49 AM
What size projectile do I need for a 2-inch pipe? Just wanna make sure I get the right one.
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 18, 2025, 6:49 AM
To effectively clean an internal diameter of 2 inches, the projectile should be approximately 10% larger in outer diameter. Keep in mind that individual circumstances may require slight adjustments in projectile size.
Question by: Dean G on Jan 24, 2026, 3:49 PM
got a 1.97 inch ID hose that needs cleaning out, will this projectile size up right for that or do i need to go bigger?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 26, 2026, 2:45 PM
For hose IDs of 2 inches or under, the projectile's outer diameter should run about 20% larger than the internal diameter you're cleaning. Since this one is sized for a 1.97-inch ID, it fits right in that range. One thing worth knowing: if the projectile ends up too large it won't clear the nozzle, and if it's too small it won't do much cleaning. Should it ever get stuck mid-run, fire an empty discharge from the opposite end to push it through.
