what happens if one of these gets stuck halfway through my hose

Shooting an empty discharge into the opposite end of the line will push it right back out. Firing issues usually happen if the projectile is too large for the inner diameter or if your air pressure drops below the 85 PSI minimum.

these projectiles come in a pack of 15, right? just want to make sure i'm ordering enough for a full cleaning job on our 2.36 inch lines

For a 2.36 inch ID line, the sizing guidance calls for a projectile roughly 10% larger than the internal diameter since it's over 2 inches, and this one is spec'd at 2.3622 inches to hit that target.
