Question by: Keith W on Sep 27, 2025, 9:44 PM
how long does this stuff actually take to cure, and is there a way to speed it up if i need the equipment back in service same day?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 29, 2025, 9:27 PM
Full cure takes 24 hours under normal conditions. If you're in a pinch, two options can speed that up. Applying SAF-T-LOK primer before assembly will accelerate the cure significantly, or you can apply heat at 200 degrees F for 10 to 20 minutes after assembly. Either way gets you back up and running without waiting the full day.

Can this stuff handle some vibration without backing off?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 2, 2025, 9:42 AM
This sealant is designed to prevent vibration loosening, so it should hold up well in those conditions.
Question by: Earl P on Jan 18, 2026, 6:22 PM
got some fine thread hydraulic fittings that like to back out from vibration. would this seal them up and keep em from loosening?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 20, 2026, 7:49 AM
For fine threads and hydraulic fittings, it seals and also locks the threads to help stop vibration loosening. It gives an instant seal, and it also lubricates the threads while you assemble the connection.
