Question by: Phil P on Oct 16, 2025, 4:51 PM
what's the clamp range on this one? got a hose that measures right around 3/4 inch OD and just wanna make sure it'll fit before I order
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 18, 2025, 6:03 AM
Runs from 11/16 inch up to 1-1/4 inch, so a 3/4 inch hose sits right in the middle of that range. You'll have plenty of adjustment on either side of it.
Question by: Stan H on Nov 4, 2025, 1:48 PM
tightening this with a regular screwdriver an option or do you need the hex tool for it?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 6, 2025, 8:00 AM
Both work fine. The screw head has a combination slot, so you can use either a 5/16 inch hex driver or a standard flathead screwdriver depending on what you've got on hand. Most folks in tighter spots find the screwdriver slot handy when there's not enough clearance to get a socket in there.
Question by: Neal C on Aug 18, 2025, 10:56 AM
Will this clamp hold up if it gets exposed to saltwater on a regular basis?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 20, 2025, 6:40 AM
Due to the SAE 300 series stainless steel band and housing, along with the SAE 410 series stainless steel screw, this clamp offers good corrosion resistance, which should help it withstand regular saltwater exposure.
