This SPX Hydraulic Technologies hydraulic fluid is a biodegradable, non-toxic fluid designed for moderate to severe operating conditions. It provides excellent protection against rust and superior anti-wear properties with excellent multi-metal compatibility.

Developed to meet stringent performance requirements and satisfy growing environmental needs for hydraulic fluids which are readily biodegradable and non-toxic, this hydraulic fluid can be used with all Power Team pumps, cylinders, valves and other accessories using standard seals. It contains anti-rust, anti-foam and anti-sludge additives and has a high viscosity index.

fluid says it's biodegradable but will it still hold up if the equipment's running hard for long stretches at a time?

Biodegradable does not mean lightweight on performance. This fluid is formulated to handle moderate to severe operating conditions, so hard use is well within what it was built for. It carries anti-wear, anti-rust, anti-foam, and anti-sludge additives, which helps it stay stable under load and protect internal components over extended run time. Just keep it within the rated temperature range, which tops out at 160 degrees F during operation, and it should hold up fine.

got a Power Team hand pump and a couple cylinders, is this fluid ok with the standard seals or am i gonna have leaks
