The DELTROL Fluid Products hydraulic check valve is engineered for robust performance in high-pressure hydraulic systems. Designed for a rated flow of up to 6.00 GPM and a maximum operating pressure of 5000 PSI, this valve ensures reliable function in demanding environments.
Constructed from durable steel, it features female 1/4-18 NPT ports, facilitating seamless integration into existing systems. The valversquo;s cracking pressure ranges from 1 to 2.5 PSI, allowing for efficient flow control.
The high flow rating and low pressure differential make it an optimal choice for applications requiring precise free flow in the direction of the arrow while providing a positive check in the opposite direction.
Its components, including a stainless steel ball and spring, Delrin ball follower, and stainless steel retainer, are meticulously selected for longevity and reliability.
This check valve operates effectively up to a maximum temperature of 200deg;F, making it suitable for various industrial uses.

Product Questions & Answers (5)
Question by: Donna P on Dec 13, 2025, 8:39 AM
got a 1/4 npt line, will this check valve screw right in and which way does it flow
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 14, 2025, 5:00 PM
It has female 1/4-18 NPT ports. Flow is allowed in the direction of the arrow on the valve body, and it checks flow in the opposite direction.
Question by: Kent E on Mar 28, 2025, 3:45 PM
Can this handle a continuous duty cycle in a hydraulic press setup?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 30, 2025, 6:05 AM
This steel check valve is rated up to 5000 PSI and 6 GPM, so it's suitable for hydraulic systems, but keep in mind that the pressure ratings listed are for non-shock service.
Question by: Shane B on Oct 18, 2025, 12:55 PM
does this check valve work for straight hydraulic systems or is it more of a pneumatic thing
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 20, 2025, 9:26 AM
Steel body valves in this line are built for hydraulic systems. The brass versions are the ones suited for pneumatics and lower-pressure hydraulic work. Since this is the steel model, you're good for hydraulic use up to 5000 PSI and 6 GPM flow.
Question by: Judy C on Mar 24, 2026, 5:44 PM
Reckon this check valve would hold up okay in a hydraulic system runnin' pretty much non-stop?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 26, 2026, 6:15 AM
For continuous use, the steel construction and internal stainless steel components of this Deltrol check valve are designed for durability. Just keep in mind the maximum operating temperature of 200°F to ensure optimal performance over the long haul.
Question by: Neal H on Jul 2, 2025, 7:10 AM
runs up to 5000 PSI rated, but what's the actual cracking pressure on this thing before flow starts moving through?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 3, 2025, 11:33 AM
Cracking pressure on this valve sits between 1 and 2.5 PSI. That's a pretty low threshold, which is part of what makes it well-suited for hydraulic systems where you want flow to move freely in the correct direction without fighting a stiff spring. Once pressure drops or reverses, the stainless steel ball seats and stops backflow. The low differential is intentional for applications that need responsive, efficient flow control rather than a heavy-duty check that takes more pressure to open.
